The introduction of self-assessment for individuals and constant changes to legislation mean not only that returns are becoming more difficult to understand, but also that taxpayers risk incurring more penalties through failure to complete their returns on time or correctly.

We provide a comprehensive personal tax compliance service for both individuals and partnerships

For individuals:

• Completing your Personal Tax Return to include all income from all sources and to claim all reliefs available to you.
• Calculating your overall tax liabilties for the year and advising you of these, and of the due dates for payment.
• Receiving and checking your Self-assessment Statements of Account and liaising with the Inland Revenue as necessary.
• Dealing with claims to reduce payments on account that can be beneficial under Self-Assessment.
• Dealing with all routine enquiries and liaison with the Inland Revenue in connection with the return. Our normal fee level includes dealing with what are known as 'aspect' enquiries. A full Inland Revenue investigation would be the subject of a separate fee agreement.
• Providing you with a bound copy of your Return and supporting papers to help you comply with your record keeping responsibilities.
• Filing the Return with the Inland Revenue.

For Partnerships:

• Completing the partnership Self-Assessment Tax Return to include the Accounting Information as shown by your final accounts and profit adjustment for taxation purposes.
• Completing the Partnership Statement for inclusion in the Partnership Tax Return.
• Providing you with a bound copy of your Return and supporting papers to help you comply with your record keeping responsibilities.
• Filing the Partnership Return with the Inland Revenue.
