Easyart has been established for 3 years and provides framed & unframed art and prints via the internet. The business head office is in London with a second office and warehouse facility in Blackboys, near Uckfield. Easyart customers range from single purchase general public clients to multi site corporate customers.

Ian Brooker, director at Easyart first contacted Armida and other local accountancy firms in December 2001 in order to source a local provider of accounting and business development services. Says Ian “Armida were subsequently appointed as they showed the ability to provide the necessary range of services required to assist in the development of a growing business.

Services are currently based around the provision of audit and accounts. However Armida are now working on the provision of strategic planning to Easyart (which will commence in the near future). This allows them to act in a quasi FD role to assist us in medium and long term strategic planning for Easyart’s business growth”.

Armida provide the services that Easyart envisage they will require during this period of growth and development. Says Ian “Their fixed fee agreements mean there are no surprises and the unlimited telephone support allows us the ability to obtain information and support when we need it without worrying about the clock ticking. We seem to have developed a good working relationship in a short time”.

With regard to the future, Easyart and Armida will be working closely together in order to develop growth strategies. Ian says that “Armida are key to this process and as we are not currently of a size where we require a full time Finance Director we see Armida as a resource that we will utilise more and more as the business develops”.
